Innovation follows curiosity almost automatically

According to the books, the ‘learning organization’ is the best way of achieving innovation. We feel the same way. Only we think that the learning organization does not consist of structures and models, but people. Not only employees, but also suppliers and clients. If you leave room for curiosity, innovative solutions arise ‘on the job’. Sometimes these go no further than one-off solutions. But it wouldn’t be the first time that a new company was created as a result. Our joint ventures in healthcare, logistics, production and social employment provision are proof of this.
For example, we came up with the CleanBike, a cleaning trolley and bicycle in one, to allow people to get from A to B quickly. Or there’s Tènce! mobile, with the latest vacancies sent to your mobile. We don’t just develop new products, but also new services, often together with the client. Examples include VitaalFlex, a flexible labour pool set up by the Vitaal Woonzorg (healthcare) group and Vebego. In brief, we never stop innovating.

At Vebego, we like to be specific, because that’s the quickest way to achieve results. It’s about satisfied customers, the growth of our businesses, the quality of our employees, our contribution to society and our revenue. All of these can be measured. We therefore like to look at the world from a practical perspective. In doing so, we like to keep it simple, so that as many people as possible understand what we’re doing, can identify with our aims and can contribute to them.
