
Margriet van Zijl Brand & Marketing Director Vebego Group
Vebego Group appoints Margriet van Zijl as Brand & Marketing Director from 1 October 2022. This is a new role within Vebego, which ties in with the strategic choice to move to one brand in order to further strengthen Vebego’s growth and impact.
Margriet (1964) has extensive, international management experience in marketing, strategy and innovation in various sectors: fast moving consumer goods (Nutricia, Procter & Gamble, Grolsch) and sustainable consumer goods (Maxi-Cosi, Auping, Bugaboo), both business to consumer and business to business. She has developed a great affinity with family businesses through her experience as a director and consultant, and has a strong focus on customer thinking and sustainability. She graduated in business economics and marketing from Tilburg University.
Vebego is working towards substantial growth in the coming years by strengthening the organisation and its market position. The decision to adopt a single brand will help Vebego achieve a powerful positioning towards the labour market, clients and society. In 2024, Vebego will consist of eleven large companies with one brand name in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. With nearly 40,000 employees, these will lead the way in cleaning, healthcare, facilities management and landscaping.
