Real change begins with small acts of kindness, and with people who care
That is exactly why Vebego Foundation has started a new collaboration with Humanitas, one of the largest volunteer organisations in the Netherlands. Humanitas supports people in finding the strength to improve their own situation. A mission that perfectly aligns with ours: giving vulnerable children and young people a better future through education, care and work.
As Vebego board member Sven Bloem explains, Humanitas makes our network of partners complete. With initiatives like Sam& (the Netherlands) and FEESTvarken vzw (Belgium), we already help families and children take important steps forward. Humanitas now offers our Vebego colleagues in the Netherlands even more opportunities to make a difference. Close to home, in their own communities.
This collaboration fits perfectly with our mission:

Humanitas adds a strong new dimension to this mission. With their 76 local branches and thousands of volunteers, they are close to the people who need a helping hand – and now our colleagues can be part of that impact too. They can make a difference by becoming a volunteer and support children, families or young people directly, contribute ideas for projects or simply give someone in their network that little push they need.
